Finn Bo Madsen forsker i at bestemme jordens størrelse og form via satellitbaseret teknologi ved anvendelse af GPS-målinger, jordobservation og analyse af geografisk information. Via GPS-stationer på Grønland hentes information om jordskorpens bevægelser og indlandsisens afsmeltning. Andre satellitter giver information om globale forandringer blandt andet i havniveauet. |
