WE HAVE BEEN EXPLORING SPACE SINCE THE 1960s

We are Denmark's largest space science research institute and a reputable international institution. From space we explore the Earth and the universe. Our history  goes back to the 1960s. With space as the starting point we conduct research, develop new technology, educate engineers and scientists, and provide advice for the benefit of people and society.

We give high priority to share our knowledge about space. We help partners, journalists and other interested parties to find the right person to speak to and help to deliver the background knowledge about DTU Space. In addition we offer lectures for the  general public. For schools we offer an online space science platform in Danish called 'vild med rummet'. (Photo: DTU Space/M.G. Andersen)
